Privacy
Updated October 21, 2026
The short version
- Your daily totals, history, and targets are private to you.
- A photo reaches a table only when you post it there.
- We never sell your data or use it for ads.
- Deleting your account erases it.
What we collect
- An account ID made on first launch. No email or password.
- The name and emoji you pick, and that you confirmed you are 18 or older.
- Food photos you take, with location and camera details removed on your phone before upload.
- Calorie and nutrient estimates, portion changes, and notes you add.
- Tables you join, reactions, guesses, and reports.
- Your time zone, a push token if you turn on nudges, and basic device and usage data.
How we use it
- To estimate meals, run tables, streaks, guesses, and the weekly Spread.
- To send the nudges you turned on.
- To keep people safe: limits, reports, and blocks.
- To understand how the app and site are used, so we can improve them.
Who sees what
- People at a table see the mealfies you post there. Numbers show only when you and the table allow them.
- A guess link shows one photo, your first name, and the dish to anyone who has the link until it expires.
- Service providers process data for us under contract: hosting, storage, photo analysis, push delivery, and usage analytics. They may not use it for their own purposes.
- We share data when the law requires it.

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account in Settings and we erase your profile, photos, estimates, and history, and remove you from your tables. Copies in backups expire on a rolling schedule.
